Lots of Lawn Fawn and American Crafts Love!

American Crafts & Lawn Fawn Card - "C U at the Shore!"
I am just in love with the AC Shoreline! Its got the perfect mix of  colors and design.  I took the house from Lawn Fawn's 2011 Halloween stamp set and made it into a "shore house"!  Top it off with some twine and you are good to go...

Lawn Fawn "Flying By to Say Hi" Card

Paper airplanes stamped on AC Amy Tangerine

Here's another American Crafts/Lawn Fawn card that I recently made.   I just love the Paper Airplanes stamps from LF.  I stamped the little airplanes on several different Amy Tangerine papers and then fussy cut them out.

My last card is made with the Studio Calico Chevron mask we have in the store for sale.  I just LOVE this mask!  I used two different Tim Holtz inks to distress sponge the background, then used the mask again to do a dry emboss technique for the middle strip.  Add a little bit of distress ink and twine...walah!  I just love these bright distress inks Tim's been coming out with!  Have you seen the latest summer set Christy just got in stock? Ta' die fau!!

Lastly, here's a layout I made with American Crafts Amy Tangerine.  This is my sweet niece Alayna Grace.  I adore the color scheme in this line!  (Sorry for the bad photo!)

Thanks for looking Scrappy Friends!  Yall come see us at the store to pick up any of the products used in these projects!

more My Minds Eye

Here are a few more projects
using the My Minds Eye
"So Sophie" lines.
I'll have them in the store
this week, for those that want
to see them in person.
I had a hard time getting a picture
of the round, scallop layout.
It is NOT adhered to the background paper.
The layout is simply the circular, scallop paper.

Hope you're all having a great summer!!

let Christy know & we'll get them together for you.

new My Minds Eye

*warning ~ picture heavy post*

So Christy is in Mobile today
for a Crop for a Cure.
If I'm not mistaken,
she took these lovely new
My Minds Eye products with her.
BUT..................................
you WILL want to come to the store
& see them in person.
TONS of great papers & embellies to match.
PLUS, most of these papers
go super-duper great with
the last My Minds Eye "Quite Contrary" line
& the last Cosmo Cricket "Jolly by Golly" line.

She's also not opposed to making up quick layout kits.
So, if you like any of these projects,
& want her to put the items in a baggie
for you to replicate for yourself,
just give her a call or email & she'll have it ready!!
NOW, how's that for customer service:)

You can see how this first line
reminds me of Christmas.
BUT, it can definitely be used for other things.

This next line has great colors,
including a beautiful brown, peach, orange,
blue, tealish green & creme.

There are a total of 4 lines,
I'm only showing 2 of them in this post.
I know some of the other dt gals
are working with the other lines,
so be on the look-out for them.
One is definitely all man/boyish
& the other has pretty purples & golds.
Happy Scrapping!!

getting in THE PINK!!

**edited to add a card & layout**
Are you getting ready for Scrap Pink 2009?
I sure hope so.
Christy has some fabulous things planned
& so many things to benefit such a worthy cause.

Here's a preview of a few make-n-takes.
Using some of the fabulous Pink Paislee
& some very appropriate stamps:)
A card, 2 bookmarks & a magnet.

This layout is of a scrapbooking friend I met on-line.
We met sometime during 2006, maybe even late 2005
& found out we lived 5-hours apart.
So, while her family vacationed in Gulf Shores, AL,
her & I got together for lunch!!
In 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer
& is currently in remission.
Sorry for the bad photo, but it's been raining!!

I've got some cards & a layout in the works.
So mark your calendars
& I'll see you September 25th - 27th!!

New Class added to NSD crop!

We are working on the class schedule for our National Scrapbook Day crop weekend! Here are some photos of one of the classes being offered. Dawne Ivey will be the instructor, she lives here in Pensacola, and has been published in many magazines, including some covers!! She is a member of the Duchess group here in town, and is on several design teams for some scrap websites! The techniques learned will be hand-stitching, embossing, some Cricut use, and using border punches. These techniques are great for cards or your layouts, so this class is for everyone!

The class will be offered on Friday night at 7:30pm and again on Saturday at 3pm. The cost is $19.00. All supplies will be included, and there will be an extra goody bag given to one student at each class, chosen by a drawing. As part of the class, you will also receive one clear stamp to keep. *Also, for each class you take, you will receive an extra ticket in the grand prize drawing for the weekend!!* You may take the class even if you are not attending the crop. Call or come by to sign up!! 607-2527.
