American Crafts & Lawn Fawn Card - "C U at the Shore!"
I am just in love with the AC Shoreline! Its got the perfect mix of colors and design. I took the house from Lawn Fawn's 2011 Halloween stamp set and made it into a "shore house"! Top it off with some twine and you are good to go...
Lawn Fawn "Flying By to Say Hi" Card
Paper airplanes stamped on AC Amy Tangerine
Here's another American Crafts/Lawn Fawn card that I recently made. I just love the Paper Airplanes stamps from LF. I stamped the little airplanes on several different Amy Tangerine papers and then fussy cut them out.
My last card is made with the Studio Calico Chevron mask we have in the store for sale. I just LOVE this mask! I used two different Tim Holtz inks to distress sponge the background, then used the mask again to do a dry emboss technique for the middle strip. Add a little bit of distress ink and twine...walah! I just love these bright distress inks Tim's been coming out with! Have you seen the latest summer set Christy just got in stock? Ta' die fau!!
Lastly, here's a layout I made with American Crafts Amy Tangerine. This is my sweet niece Alayna Grace. I adore the color scheme in this line! (Sorry for the bad photo!)
Thanks for looking Scrappy Friends! Yall come see us at the store to pick up any of the products used in these projects!

Tiny, stamped Valentines, using the K.I.S.S. technique and more!
This cute little set of Valentines was stamped with Love 'n Breakfast from Lawn Fawn available here. The cards measure just 2 x 2 and are oh so cute! The KISS Technique is "Keep It Simple Stupid". I used just one extra color on each one...Pink for the stud muffin, a little bit of yellow for my eggs and an oh so cute red bowtie for my toast! (Who doesn't love a piece of toast in a bowtie?) This set of three took me about 20 minutes to make...no time at all!

Since the stores are doing it...
Then I am doing it! That's right; it is ONE day after Halloween, and I am posting about Christmas! ha ha! Actually, my Christmas motivation does not come from the stores; No, it comes from my yearly (broken) promise to myself to GET CHRISTMAS STARTED EARLY!! Yes! This is MY YEAR...I will make handmade cards, gift tags & cute decorations to sprinkle ALL over my house! Yes, everyday I will create for the holidays! I will create so many lovely banners and crafty paper goodness, that I might even need (gasp!) TWO trees! I am SO sticking with the plan this year. See? I've already gotten started! With the help of some CUTE new Holiday arrivals at Scraphappy, I have officially kicked off on my quest...ONE whole tag & ONE whole layout, done! (I used our new Fancy Pants "Saint Nick" for both....Just one of our precious new lines in the store!) By the way, I need to mention that, SOMETIMES I can be a bit over-zealous and tend to procrastinate with projects....but not this year of course! wink wink.

Happy Fall Ya'll!
Ok, Ok...it may not exactly feel like fall, but this is the South, right? So even though its still a bit warm, I love to get my Fall, and eventually Halloween decorations out as early as I can get away with it! I have a little table by my entryway that I like to decorate with my favorite things along with a few of my handcrafted items!
Pink Paislee's Phantom is a super cool Halloween line...I love the colors and all the cameos! But instead of using it for Halloween, I wanted to show you how you can use it for other non-Halloween uses! How fun is that!
Supplies used in these projects:
- Lawn Fawn stamps in Happy Haunting, Quinns Alphabet & Sophies Sentements
- Pink Paislee patterned paper & brads in Phantom Collection
- Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in various colors

Before I sign off I wanted to ask, How cute is that puppy in the window?? (Thats my Lola)

"Quinn-tessential" Alphabet stamps...from Lawn Fawn!
Hey Scraphappy Peeps!! Today I am sharing with you one of our new sets of acrylic stamps from Lawn Fawn, Quinns Alphabet! Letters A-Z, all caps, plus an exclamation point! Each letter is just at, or under, an inch, and is very versatile! On my layout "Potty Time", I stamped each letter then cut them out. With the "School Time" tag, I did something a little different but SO easy...I inked up the entire set (still attached to the plastic sheet it comes on) with Embossing Ink, and I lightly pressed my patterned paper onto the inked stamps. After some gentle pressure, I pulled the paper off the stamps. Next, I used clear embossing powder, heat set, then die cut after it was cooled. I love the way it looks, and it is such an easy way to make a quick background!

Introducing a new line from Pink Paislee & House of 3...SOIREE! This collection is so much fun...the bright pink, yellow, turquoise, grey, etc is divine! (Its not obvious that I love this collection, is it?) And check out the acrylic stamps that go with it...This set is chock full of banners, cakes, cake stands, borders, a teapot & more! And did I mention banners? Yes. Banner love is flowing through this collection. And last but not least, lets talk embellishments... All I can say is BLING, scrumptuous, 3-D, BIG chipboard stickers, laser cut wood shapes, gorgeous hat pins, chipboard embellies galore and yes, banners!! Whew! I started to get a little carried away there! Check out the mini book that I had SO much fun making with this collection, and then decide fo' yo' self!!

Hey there Early Birds!

Greetings late night scrappers; Or should I say Early Bird Scrappers? As I type it is now 2am, the morning of the Blue Angels, and I'm up blogging about scrapbooking...A true addict indeed. Call me crazy, but I do have a reason to be blogging for Scraphappy at this insane hour; And that's to show off the PRECIOUS new line, Early Bird, from Cosmo Cricket! Just arrived in the store this past Wednesday! Brand spankin' new! You should have seen how excited Christy was about getting this in last week; I'm pretty sure she was stalking the UPS guy daily up until delivery! Just kidding ya'll! But seriously, who doesn't love to open a package from our faithful friend in the brown shirt, shorts & matching socks? Especially when it is scrapbooking supplies! Oh my!
I hope you enjoy what I have created out of this really special collection. My layout is called "Cool Fruit", and features my dear son Dillon (at age 2) chomping happily away on his ump-teenth piece of watermelon on a hot July day up at his Great-Grandma's house in Benton, MS! The second project I made was a mini "matchbook". I've made one of these before and was excited to use this line to make one once again! Though the book is small and the words are few, the message I hope to share through it is how much I cherish family gatherings and dinners at my Mom & Dad's...It doesn't get any better than that!
Enjoy!
Colleen
