Glubers and their many uses!

~taken from the Cosmo Cricket blog @ cosmocricket.typepad.com!

By now you know that Glubers are the word. The projects you can create are simply amazing. Flowers, Flowers, and more Flowers.

We have this sneaking suspicion that as creative as you are, you will come up with some brilliant ideas.

Julie and I came up with some of our own that you may not have thought of!

So with that here we go:

#10- If your child has been really naughty, put them in the corner with a Gluber on their nose, and press them against the wall (caution- the timeout may become permanent)

#9- If you like talking on the phone, it could work as a hands free option

#8- It's more painful than waxing but more effective

#7-If you're a Klepto, just think you can pick up anything without leaving a finger print

#6- One pair can hold-up your strapless bra for many evenings of salsa dancing

#5- It can hold your coffee cup to your dashboard, But your going to need a really long straw

#4- Your husband will never lose the remote. It will be stuck to his hand permanently. Oh we forgot, it probably already is

#3- Convince your friends you can perform Circus balancing acts. For example, place a Gluber on the end of your chin, then place the handle of your Swiffer on your chin. You will be a huge hit with the kids in your neighborhood . To really impress, then adhere a Bowling ball to the other end of the Swiffer.

#2- If you accidently cut your finger off with your paper trimmer, and it has been less than 5 minutes, simply re-adhere with a Gluber

#1- If it has been longer than 5 minutes, Don't worry, you can use a Gluber to keep your hospital gown closed.

Christy's Top 10 Favorites from CHA!!

Okay, this is very hard to narrow down, but I am going to try! I am also going to try and choose different top tens than Stephanie!!

1.) Favorite stamp set: "Plus One" from Lawn Fawn Stamps! Bun in the oven is tooooo cute!! This card was done by Nancy over at Happy Heart Studios.

2.)Favorite paper line, "Portrait" by Crate Paper. Soo pretty! Great new colors!

3.)Favorite new product: Glubers from Cosmo Cricket! Such a simple little thing, but so useful! Basically they are a large adhesive dot used for making your own flowers!

4.)Cutest booth: GCD Studios! They had a kissing booth, banners, hanging bird cages, and even the wooden people shapes you pose with at the fair or circus.

5.)Favorite layout! This was the hardest to choose because i loved tons of them!!!! The quote says: "In this vast world, you will never be alone." I THINK this was in the Best Creation booth.

6.)Favorite newer manufacturer: Ok, so they aren't really new, but Memory Works came out with these simple stories sets, life documented, destinations, and an elementary one. The all come with 4x6 journaling prompts, and all sorts of sized pieces to fit in the divided page protectors. Hence, getting some quick scrappin done! I was surprised not only at how good the finished products looked, but how pretty the papers actually were!

7.)Booth with the best samples: Little Yellow Bicycle! This is one could easily have gone to many, many booths, but i think the biggest difference in their layouts was, the PHOTOS were AwEsOmE!!!!Just goes to show, the pictures really do make the page!!

8.)Favourite International Line: Rococo by Harmonie!
Such pretty colours! They always use the best turquoise color to make super dramatic paper!

9.)Favorite storage item: Plastic binders and cases by Univenture. These clear cases come with or without binder rings inside. They range in size from around 4"x6" to 11"x14". You can use pages inside to store photos, or as a personal sticker binder. You can store anything in them, stamps, embellies, paper, etc. They can be labeled and stacked on a shelf like books! We also thought about the idea of making a mini album out of the smaller sized ones! And the best part? The largest one only retails for around $6!! Yay!

10.)Favorite unconventional scrap supply product: Vintage Street Market! This booth had these large 24"x36"sheets of scrap paper! Each sheet has 6 different 12x12 squares of designs, with a coordinating color on the back. Also comes with the same size sheets of crepe paper and foil paper! 12x12 die cuts also included. Not sure exactly what I will be using this paper for yet, but I am sure you guys will help with some really awesome ideas!
