All 3 of these cards were made
using a combination of My Minds Eye's
So Sophie & Quite Contrary lines,
plus Cosmo Cricket chipboard.

Crop for a Cure in Mobile...
So the crop was awesome! Everyone was really nice, lots of scrappin was to be had, and there were tons of prizes and auctions! Colleen came with to help out, thanks Colleen!!! Melissa did an awesome job again this year. Hopefully it put her very near to her monetary goal for the 3-day walk in Tampa. You can check out her blog to check out crop pics, or to send a donation her way to help her reach her goal here.
So, we held a contest for the croppers over there, where they purchased a $5 kit from our booth, made whatever they wanted out of it, and we chose a winner at the end of the day. Well, the layouts were all so good that we actually chose 2 winners and a handful of honorable mentions. Here is a photo of ONE of the winners, hopefully Colleen will get the other photos up soon!

This layout was so cool because Ashley, the designer, cut the scalloped edge off of the whole paper, and put it on pop dots, so the layout literally looked like a shadow box! And look at that ribbon on a boy layout! Way to go Ashley!
Check for an email from us tomorrow telling how you could be the winner of a $50 gift certificate!

Father's Day Layout
This is my father's day layout using My Mind's Eye line "so sophie". The pics are of Emersyn and her father coloring at IHOP for breakfast. You can use this line for masculine as well as feminine layouts. It's hard to find masculine paper to use that's also nice to look at. I like the "So Sophia" paper and all it's embellishments. The color and style is perfect me. I'm not a fan of using "cute and lovable" styles of paper like, little rabbits, birds, daisies, etc. Not that I have anything against this style, it's just not for me. lol I like rustic but elegant paper so this line is perfect for me. Christy also has new paper and embellishments that only uses black and white for their design. I'm working on this sample next. I'm using it to design a diary based on the series "Vampire Diaries". Check out my blog for info on my first class I'm teaching at Scrap Happy. We will be making Vinateg Journals. I gave these out for Christmas last year and everyone loved them. Journal making is my most popular classes.

new My Minds Eye
*warning ~ picture heavy post*
So Christy is in Mobile today
for a Crop for a Cure.
If I'm not mistaken,
she took these lovely new
My Minds Eye products with her.
BUT..................................
you WILL want to come to the store
& see them in person.
TONS of great papers & embellies to match.
PLUS, most of these papers
go super-duper great with
the last My Minds Eye "Quite Contrary" line
& the last Cosmo Cricket "Jolly by Golly" line.
She's also not opposed to making up quick layout kits.
So, if you like any of these projects,
& want her to put the items in a baggie
for you to replicate for yourself,
just give her a call or email & she'll have it ready!!
NOW, how's that for customer service:)

You can see how this first line
reminds me of Christmas.
BUT, it can definitely be used for other things.

This next line has great colors,
including a beautiful brown, peach, orange,
blue, tealish green & creme.

There are a total of 4 lines,
I'm only showing 2 of them in this post.
I know some of the other dt gals
are working with the other lines,
so be on the look-out for them.
One is definitely all man/boyish
& the other has pretty purples & golds.
Happy Scrapping!!
