Baby Shower Invite
Another way of using the cute and adorable "Quite Contrary" Line from My Mind's Eye is making a baby shower invitation. Use the Umbrella & "Hey" embellishment, with the rain drop paper called "Favorite Thing" Jack & Jill line. Decorate with yellow rick-rack and green ribbon for a baby shower theme invite. You can change the colors for more specific baby shower: blue for boy and pink for girl. Like I needed to tell you that! Hope to see you this weekend at 3-Day Crop!

My Minds Eye layouts
scrappin' day ever!!
Here's a couple of layouts
I know you're probably getting sick
of seeing this line,
BUT,
there's so many possibilities.
I actually got to make a "boy" layout:)
I watch a friend's boy on Friday's,
so I enjoy getting some action shots.
Supplies: My Minds Eye "Mary Mary" papers; Lush red alphabet & brads; Fiskar border punches
On my blog, I have close-ups
of the clouds on the "superman" layout
& the layered flowers on the "french braid" layout.
I will say I have 3 more sheets of the
Jack & Jill and Little Boy Blue.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo,
that means you'll see, at least, one more project!!

So there is still time to get create your Easter layouts with those gorgeous Easter and Spring pictures that you took over the Holiday. Show me the layouts you created using the Quite Contrary line by e-mailing them to me. I would love to see them!!

Crafters with Heart Club
Our first meeting last Saturday was a success!! Thanks to Laashlee, BiBi, and Carol for joining. We made 46 cards for operationwritehome.org. A special thanks to Lowe's on 9 Mile Rd for "lending" their manager Carol to help out with this cause. We had 70 cards donated to this organization. We mailed a total of 116 handmade cards this week!! A great start to our club! Hopefully when we ship cards in May we can send more than 116. For a list of meeting dates and what current projects we have to work on e-mail me: simplystated09@yahoo.com
Scouts, Coaches, more!
This is a metal, magnetic message board using the Teresa Collins sports edition line...A perfect, quick gift for a coach, all for under $10! Could also be decorated differently and given as an end of the year teacher's gift!
These are some girl scout layouts using the Quite Contrary line by My Mind's Eye. The colors in this collection work perfectly for girl scout colors!
These frames say Boy Scouts, and we also have them in school names now! We can also do personalized ones, so if there is one you would like, just let us know.
This is a simple Disney layout using the Lush collection from My Mind's Eye.
We have lots of class samples coming for National Scrapbook Day, including some acrylic mini books, fabric covered books, glimmer mist, and more! See store for completed samples!

Crafters with Heart Meeting this Saturday!
New volunteer craft club started!
Along with the help of Heidi from design team, we are starting a new club for all crafters called Crafters with Heart. The group will consist of volunteers that want to help make items for local and national charities and groups that need handmade items. Our first project is going to be Operation Write Home, a group that sends handmade greeting cards overseas to troops, for them to use to send back to their family here. Each meeting will consist of a volunteer teacher teaching the group a new skill or technique. Then we will spend the rest of the time that day making the needed items. Our next meeting will be here at Scraphappy, Saturday, April 10th, from 3pm-6pm. We will learn some card techniques from Heidi, then spend the afternoon making cards! So, if you are interested in joining, show up on Saturday! If you know of any local causes that could use items, let us know! Crafters of all kinds welcome, knitters, painters, crocheters, etc. So, in a nutshell,
Free Classes~Free Craft Time~all for a Good Cause!
