Triple Pocket Card

TRIPLE POCKET CARD

American crafts paper line by amy tangerine inspired me to create a triple pocket card, with tags, photo space and journaling spots.

My thought when creating this was to be given to someone starting a new journey in life.

It can be used on a vacation, for a summer job, volunteering, new school or any adventure.

The Accent & Phrase Sticker Book for this paper line is filled.  The sticker book and fabric stickers and borders are fun to add to your cards or layouts to make your projects your own. For all those paper addicts, these stickers are sure to please.

The basic card shape is made with one 8 ½ x 11 double sided amy tangerine.

The 8 ½ inch side is scored at 4 ¼ inch (the middle)

Turn to the 11 inch side and score at 5 ½ (the middle)

Turn to the 8 ½ top and cut, stopping at the score lines interception.

Go to the bottom right hand corner and fold paper so the bottom edge meets up the 4 1/4 score line.

Go to the top left corner and fold in 1 inch. Or 1 ½ away from 4 ¼ score line.

Then fold top left over to top right. (front)

Next fold bottom right up to top right.

Next fold left side behind to create card.

Tape edges to create pocket.

On the left inside of the card, the paper was upside down so I cut a piece of white bazzill 5 ¼ x 8 and scored in half to fit in the card. I then used a clear ruler and a black pen to draw the lines on the white paper for journaling. I also used lawn fawn Many Thanks clear stamp set.

Using black ink, I colored “note” on the” a little note of thanks” stamp. I then stamped it on the white Bazzill stamping cardstock. I then colored the “s” on “MANY THANKS” stamp and stamped it next to “note”. ( Creating notes)  Then using amy tangerine paper, I added a border. Next, use adhesive to attach it to the white 5 ¼ x 8 cardstock on the inside. When attaching the white 5 ¼ x 8, I only used adhesive on three sides to create a pocket for another tag.

The tags can be whatever size you want that will fit. I made a 3 ¼ x 4 ¼ for the front, front pocket and a  3 ½ x 5 for the front back pocket. For both of the front tags, I used a light green bazzill paper. For the tag on the inside pocket, I used a creamy yellow bazzill paper, 3 ¼ x 3 ¾. I used Tim Holtz distress ink, peeled paint to add color to this tag. Now just have fun using the amy tangerine stickers to decorate.
Have fun creating your scrappy creations!
