Scrap Pink photos and fundraiser info!

Alright, hope everyone has recovered from their scrappy hangovers! I had so much fun this weekend, and I am so thankful to everyone who helped make it a success! So far, we have raised over $700 in crop donations, raffle money, and bra contest votes! Continue to vote online or in the store throughout the month of October. The bra in the lead right now is the Auburn bra, ahead by 6 votes!

I will be posting a slideshow on the website as well as here this week!

Ok ladies, only 34 more hours until we get 3 full days to Scrap Scrap Scrap!!!

Hope you've got your pictures printed, you're bags packed, and you're ready for a fun weekend!

We have so much new stuff in that we have been saving for you guys, too much to list.

Tell all of your friends, co-workers, and family to please visit the website and vote on our altered bras! We have already raised nearly $100 in donations just from the bra contest, and hopefully it will be a lot more by Sunday night! They can vote right on the website, scraphappypensacola.com.

Remember: Saturday feel free to wear your pj's to the crop, and if you are not cropping, be sure to stop by on Saturday to some of the free make-n-takes!

Scrap Pink 2009 is Almost Here!!

Yay!! Can I get a WOO-HOOO!!! This will be my first Scrap Pink event and I can't wait. I look forward to seeing all of you and seeing you do the "art of scrapbooking".

Scrap Pink is such a wonderful way to connect with others touched by breast cancer. In honor of my sister-in-law and a good friend of mine who have both battled breast cancer, I did a few layouts to go on the Scrap Pink Wall. Here are the LOs:

In order to be prepared to scrap by the weekend I am going to have to get an early start deciding what I am going to bring. Isn't that the hardest thing? Trying to narrow down all your stuff so you don't need a truck to haul it all in? I am going to sort photos and papers to try to get focused and actually get some layouts done (at least that is my plan). My husband is already hip to my game. He says, "Do you really need all that time to scrapbook? You are gone all that time and you only have 6 pages?" I say, "Honey, you just don't get it." But I am thinking, "A crop is a ton of work, let's see: I scrap...talk...eat...talk some more...fawn over everybody's stuff...look at everyone's gadgets that I don't have ...make a list of all the stuff I now "need"... scrap... talk... eat... complete 2 layouts in 6 hours...(sigh) isn't that just the best." Scrapbookers have the most fun!

Anyway, I am sure we are going to have a great time this weekend! Get ready!

Scrappers by Day, Tattoo Artists by Night!!!

Last week here at Scraphappy, we helped a girl design her very first tattoo using some of our stamps! Here is a picture of what she decided on:

Cute shoes, huh?! Can anyone guess what stamp that is that she chose? *The fleur-de-lis is not part of the stamp.*

I thought she was pretty brave for going that big on the first one!

This layout is of a scrapbooking friend I met on-line.
We met sometime during 2006, maybe even late 2005
& found out we lived 5-hours apart.
So, while her family vacationed in Gulf Shores, AL,
her & I got together for lunch!!
In 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer
& is currently in remission.
Sorry for the bad photo, but it's been raining!!

Hey gals! Have you guys seen the absolutely PRECIOUS Pink Paislee papers that Christy just got in the store? I absolutely love them! Anything with hot pink is right up my alley! The first layout, "Light Up a Room" features the Office Lingo line from Pink Paislee. The second layout is actually a transparency from the line. Too cute! Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy!
