To coincide with CHA week in Orlando, we are running a blog contest from Tuesday through Thursday! Leave a comment telling us your favorite new release scrappy items/collections/tools, etc that you've seen, and you will be entered for a chance to win! If you haven't seen any of the new stuff, go to your favorite manufacturer's website and check them out, then come back and tell us about them! We will randomly choose a winner on Friday, to win a $25 Scraphappy gift card!! This will also help us to decide what new release items to order for you guys!
Have a good week everybody, and good luck! :)

Lemonade, Anyone?
Hey Scraphappy Peeps!
I know half of you have already been in to Scraphappy and bought the new Lemonade by Basic Grey (you were probably standing over Christy as she pulled it out the box). If you have not gone in to get this wonderful good stuff you need to go! This new line makes scrapbooking super-dooper easy! The layouts that I did are simple and easy and colorful (took them from Creating Keepsakes May 2009). I love this new line, swear I could eat it. Basic Grey has also added to their line "Designer Cardstock". On the first layout I used the blue cardstock. It is way more versatile to use with Basic Grey papers and is a perfect match. There is very little work to do to make pretty pages. You know when you make real lemonade you get some lemons, sugar and water, right? This line is the same way, you just add photos and a title ( I used Thickers by American Crafts). Check it out:The chipboard and embellishments are stinkin' adorable. Lady bug chipboard stickers....too cute. There is very little work that has to be done! Don't you just love it!
Okay, before I go I have to tell you ladies to do something. Check out the calendar for upcoming events. I took a class last week with Dawne (one of the designers). She ROCKS! The class was awesome! Dawne had us make 6 cards that are so cute. Everything was perfectly organized and I was blown away! Not to mention I came home with some goodies and 6 cards! Whoo-hoo! But you guys have to check out the calendar, Christy is going to keep you busy scrappin'!
Toodles! Have a wonderful day!

*New Stuff in....
This friendly face in brown is our UPS driver here at Scraphappy... He sort of caught on to us constantly stalking him, so we decided to introduce him to you guys! When we see him come through the door, we know that can only mean one thing: new stuff, aka Christmas at Scraphappy!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!! So from now on, when you see his picture on the blog, you know what it means. Justin's mom is actually a scrapbooker, though I have yet to meet her! Hi Justin and Justin's mom! That girl in the background is actually me dancing on the table because our Zutter stuff is here!
So today he brought us all of our Bind it All's for our workshop next week, Zutter corner rounders, Teresa Collins' paper and glossy chipboard, the new Moxxie zoo paper and embellishments, (super cute), some new glitter papers, and some more Basic Grey opalines! We also got more Basic Grey mats, more Scor Pals, and Scotch ATG tape guns. Oh, and some Jenni Bowlin die cut papers. All of it is totally cute! Colleen is working on something with the new Moxxie, so check back by!
See you all in the store soon! ~Bye!~

Hey there Early Birds!
Greetings late night scrappers; Or should I say Early Bird Scrappers? As I type it is now 2am, the morning of the Blue Angels, and I'm up blogging about scrapbooking...A true addict indeed. Call me crazy, but I do have a reason to be blogging for Scraphappy at this insane hour; And that's to show off the PRECIOUS new line, Early Bird, from Cosmo Cricket! Just arrived in the store this past Wednesday! Brand spankin' new! You should have seen how excited Christy was about getting this in last week; I'm pretty sure she was stalking the UPS guy daily up until delivery! Just kidding ya'll! But seriously, who doesn't love to open a package from our faithful friend in the brown shirt, shorts & matching socks? Especially when it is scrapbooking supplies! Oh my!
I hope you enjoy what I have created out of this really special collection. My layout is called "Cool Fruit", and features my dear son Dillon (at age 2) chomping happily away on his ump-teenth piece of watermelon on a hot July day up at his Great-Grandma's house in Benton, MS! The second project I made was a mini "matchbook". I've made one of these before and was excited to use this line to make one once again! Though the book is small and the words are few, the message I hope to share through it is how much I cherish family gatherings and dinners at my Mom & Dad's...It doesn't get any better than that!
Enjoy!
Colleen
