October News and Dates
Hi everyone!
Thanks for coming out for Scrap Pink last weekend, we raised a little over $700 to send to the Susan G Komen for a Cure foundation. I had a really good time, hope everyone else did too! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out in one way or another all weekend or beforehand. Check out the blog and website for pics!
Those who came by to crop or shop over the weekend already know this, but for those who didn't get to come by, we are EXPANDING! As of November 1st, we will be in the empty suite beside Wallpaper Gallery. It is more than 3x the size of this store, has its own parking, and many other features that you will have to come by and see once we are in there! There will be a HUGE crop area that will remain in place at all times, and two other private rooms that can be rented out at any time for cropping, parties, meetings, or whatever you’d like! I am very excited, and want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been supporting the store already! Not to sound cliché, but without you guys, we literally would not be able to grow so quickly. We will be adding a good bit to the inventory all at once, so if there are any special requests, get them in ASAP!
~Moving Sale!! Unfortunately, the entire store won’t fit on the hot pink golf cart we used during ScrapPink weekend, so, we are having a moving sale! From now until Oct 31st, there will be Buy 1, Get 1 Free items throughout the store! Stop by to check it out, different items will be added to the sale throughout the month.
~World Card-Making Day Sale!! Come in on Saturday the 3rd and order a Scor-Pal for only $30!!! That’s $10 off regular price! Offer good Saturday only!
~Layaway now for Christmas!-We are starting a layaway program so that you can make payments on those larger purchases! Call or come by for more details!
October Classes and Crops
*Saturday, Oct. 3rd World Card-Making Day
To celebrate World card-making day, we are kicking off our partnership with Operation Write Home. Come by anytime on Saturday to make a card using our supplies. All of the cards collected will go to our armed forces overseas to use to write home on. We will keep the card-making station set up in the store from now on, so you can also do this anytime you come in, or you can bring cards that you’ve already made to put in the box to be shipped off. The next deadline for cards will be November 1st, all Christmas and Hanukkah cards need to be in by then. Visit cardsforheroes.org for more info!
*Thursday, Oct. 16th Photoshop Elements Class 1 of 4 6pm
This is a 4-part series on how to use Photoshop Elements. You must own PS Elements and a laptop to join, unless you have a friend that is taking the class that doesn’t mind sharing. The classes will be approximately 2 hours long, and will be on the following 3 Thursday nights. Cost: $15/class, or $55 if you pay for all four sessions at once.
*Saturday, Oct. 17th Midnight Madness Crop $10
Last crop in this location!
*Saturday, Oct. 17th “Gypsy” Acrylic Album 1pm-4pm $40
This 18-page acrylic vertical "stadium" album is created with pages that are consecutively 1-inch shorter than the next. Pockets, envelopes and other interactive elements make this a fun album to create. We R Memory Keepers paper, Imaginisce’s blossoms and bling brads, Teresa Collins journaling cards, plus plenty of ribbon, complete this kit. While the sample features a roundup of summer photos, the colors and themed rub-ons included allow you to make this album for a variety of subjects or events. We'll bind it, tie on the ribbon, and then you'll have a unique album to show off this fall!

I've yet to come visit, but I'm super psyched about checking out the store! On the website, I saw that you accept supplies for consignment, will you still be doing that in the new location?
Aymes - Yes! We will have the same Consignment Corner options in the new store. Feel free to bring yours by any time; Consignment is always hoppin'!
